5F-AKB48 is a kind of drug that serves as a strong agonist for the cannabinoid receptors with a ki of 304.5nM and a EC50 of 585nM at CB1. It has the potent binding affinity for the peripherical CB2cannabinoid receptors as it possesses a greatly reduce affinity for the central CB1 cannabinoid receptors. The IUPAC name of 5F-AKB48 is 1-(5-fluoropentyl)-N-(tricyclo[126.96.36.199 3,7]dec-1-yl)-1H-indazole-3-carboxamide. The molecular formula is C23H30FN3O and the molar mas is 383.50 g/mol. The molecular structure is a little bit diferent from AKB48 due to the addition of fluorine at the end carbon of the pentyl chain. The effects are reported to be importantly more powerful when compared to the parent compound. Just like any other cannabinoid, 5F-AKB48 can be vaporized in tis pure powder form or laced onto dried plant material and smoked out of a pipe. With 5F-AKB48, the risk is importantly higher as a result of the compound is still considering a research compound and lacks any sort of formal trials.
